The winter of 2019 bought multiple torrential rainstorms to the desert washing out roads and flooding the area. Our golf course developed water holes where non had been before. The desert quickly absorbed the excess water, waking up seeds lying dormant deep in the soil. Cooler than normal temperatures promoted and elongated blooming season. It has been a glorious spring despite the difficult winter.
